Queue run images and catalogues for the CFHTLS Deep Fields

In addition to the full CFHTLS Deep stacks that have been produced for a few years now, stacks which only combine data from particular queue runs have been generated. You may find these stacks useful for various time-sensitive investigations.

• If you only need one or two images, you may use the links in the large table below.
• For larger requests (e.g. if you want all the images of the D1 taken in the I band) you are probably better off using the query form.
• Finally, the data can be accessed programmatically using your favourite scripting language and URLs like the following: http://www.cadc.hia.nrc.gc.ca/getData?archive=CFHTSG&file_id=D1.04BQ05.I.fits. For more information about programatic access to CADC data, see the getData documentation.

• clicking on I gets you the Image;
• clicking on W gets you the Weight image;
• clicking on C gets you the Catalogue;
• clicking on D gets you the Documentation (input images, dates, limiting magnitudes) for that stack.

The data was processed with MegaPipe in a similar manner to the full CFHTLS-SG Deep stacks. (Read the details here.) The individual queue run stacks are astrometrically registered to the full stacks and are exactly the same size. The photometric calibration is also the same: all the images are scaled to a photometric zero-point of 30 in AB magnitudes. The catalogues were generated with SExtractor using this parameter file.

Not all the queue run data was processed. Only images with seeing/image quality better than IQ=1.0" where included in the stacks. The IQ values used for this determination are the Elixir values, which are occasionally in error. Stacks were only generated for queue runs where 5 or more suitable images were taken in a given filter. This is why, for example, there are no stacks for the U-band in the D2.

A significant fraction of the data is public. Some images are still proprietary and may only be accessed by CFHTLS members. For these data, you will need your CADC username and password.
