The globular cluster M15 was
used to measure the variations of the point-spread function across the field. We plan to
monitor Hokupa'a performance and field angle dependence by repeating similar sets of
observations at the beginning of each Hokupa'a observing block.

This is another observation
of the globular M15. During this engineering observation we were testing the acquisition
range of the Hokupa'a wavefront sensor. In this data set three of the four diagonal axes
were explored. The field of view across a diagonal is between 30-50 arcseconds. Unfortunately
no photometric standard stars were observed this night. Note that the
coadded image may not have the optimum registration of individual images.

This data set was
intended to provide an example of the detection of faint galaxies. The field
consists of several faint field galaxies in the vicinity of 53W002.
The calibration data for SV-3 are identical to the calibration data for SV-4.
No photometric calibrations were taken on this night however by bootstrapping
photometry from Demonstration Science observations of the galactic center
taken the same night we estimate that the brightest three objects in the field
are Kp ~ 18.5 to 19.0.

This image of
SN2000da and its parent galaxy UGC5 represents a fleeting opportunity to image
nearby galaxies at high resolution from the ground by using bright extragalactic
supernovae as AO guide stars. The supernova's visual magnitude was around 17.5,
which approaches the limiting AOGS magnitude for Hokupa'a. Unfortunately no
photometric standard stars were observed this night.
